As the former Chief Executive of both Vattenfall’s UK energy retailer and challenger supplier So Energy, Monica demonstrated exceptional leadership, navigating the complexities of the energy crisis and orchestrating a significant merger with ESB Energy. Her extensive commercial background spans property, automotive, and retail home improvement, sectors integral to the energy transition.

Monica's commitment to diversity and gender representation in the workplace is well-recognised. She has been a vocal ambassador for POWERful Women and active supporter of the Women’s Utilities Network. Her participation as a UK Delegate at the United Nations’ 68th session of the Commission on the Status of Women underscores her dedication to these causes.

Currently, Monica serves across a portfolio of non-executive and advisory roles, including her position as Chair of the energy technology SaaS business, Swarm and NED on the boards of Dalcour Maclaren and Cornwall Insights. Her multifaceted experience and visionary approach will undoubtedly enrich Green Executives’ Advisory Committee.
